Ian Royal Clearly Adkins has lost the players and they're not up for it, drifting into another poor performance all over the pitch with no effort or drive.

Oh wait. We've created lots and just scored. Sounds like an entertaining classic with no defences.

Ian. It is the lack of fan support that is making us lose 5-1. I agree

Adkins is one of the best managers in the league and one of the top good old English managers with great footballing philosophy.

Its a shame Reading F.C have let him down so much.

I beg you Nigel, walk away from this club while you still can, its been a nightmare.

With FPP can we afford to sack Adkins with the compensation due to him?

Genuine question......

Just how shit does it have to get before:

a) The board actually sack this deluded cnut
b) Some fans realise that Nigel is completely out of his depth

Confirmed relegation to League One perhaps?

I will be singing Adkins out for sure at every home game from now on.

There comes a point in the reign of a Manager where a result occurs in a game which is career defining; for Adkins, today is that game.

If he is still Manager by this time next week, I'd be surprised.

4-1 down and the one thing you do is try to keep it tight for the first 5 minute, not concede 32 seconds after the restart.

There is something fundamentally wrong with just about every aspect of coaching and fitness and the confidence is shot to pieces. I can't see how Adkins can turn it round. Time for a change.

Adkins got £500K in comp when Saints sacked him with 18 months left on his contract.
He's 18 months left at Reading.
I'd sack Adkins over signing Murray if it came to it.
