Just don't go!! I don't any more. That's largely down to the Zingarevich saga, the relentless bullshit from SJM, and now the mystery Thai's, and the mess we are still very much in! I just don't care for the game any more! It's a real shame when an old head doesn't feel in touch with his own club any more, but that's where many of us are at!

No they haven't. In fact it was the one thing my children and I loved to do every weekend. I've been falling out of love with the game for several years, and now sadly it's finally reached my own club. Hopefully if and when it ran properly again, I'll get the bug back, but I fear that wont be for some time, if at all. The game has gone to shit.

I seriously don't get it, a football match is about 11 v 11. You turn up, watch, sing if you want... or don't. Drink if you wan't.... or don't, meet your mates, or go on your own. For me it's not about how much money the players earn, or who owns the club, football finances have naff all to do with match day experience, and as the ST prices have been static now for god knows how long, it's not even effecting me in the pocket. IMO they are strange reasons to 'fall out of love with the game' but I appreciate you are not alone in that reasoning, i suppose it depends on what you want from football. If for instance you didn't read the sport section of the newspapers or trawl the interspaz for every last morsel of football drudgery, you wouldn't know how much players were on or who owns the club or how much the club is making, losing. Give it a try a self-imposed football news ban for a year then go back. turn up on the first day of the season not knowing who we have signed who we have sold. Sit in your seat and watch a game of football. Simples

I've not been at all this year and only went to one last year.
When McD was in charge I attended as many as I could given that i play saturdays and live in croydon. Still got a good third of home games in though.
Adkins is a tw@t, the owners are on another planet. SJM was very amibitious, but no one else will care for the club the way he does. It's just a money laundering expercise for Anton and the Thais.
If Adkins does get the elbow i'll do my best to get to the next home game, til then i'll keep my £24 for crisps and beer!

Should do the not turning up thing after Christmas and go to watch a Non- League game instead. That way people can wear the Macs they got for Christmas and with Non-League football being so much more fan friendly than the modern professional game it's possible that the Maidenhead tannoy man would play requests like, the greatest hits of Jethro Tull, Yes and King Crimson.

Q: for you Sandman - when Reading go into liquidation and have to start up a new club in the Hellenic League.....will you attend the matches?
