Did well with Charlton - loyal with them

Did well with West Ham - players sold w/o permission so he left

Been out of work a long long time yet has reportedly been interviewed for various manager jobs, including ours before Adkins got it. There must be a reason people don't touch him.

Only person that can save us is a proper Reading legend. I vote for Dave Kitson

Only lasted a couple of months as Technical Director (whatever that means!) at Fulham last season before being given the heave-ho.

if we are looking for a Reading Legend, who is already with the Club and is a successful coach with the team he is involved with, why isn't the name of Michael Gilkes in the frame?

Changed managers so that probably had something to do with it

He's much too left wing for Madejski

Happy with that if true, but then why is Hoddle at the club today? Sounds like a decision is yet to be made.

He's already our manager on Wikipedia, although we may be in for a bad spell

"Reading FC On 16th December 2014, two days after previous manager Nigel Atkins had been sacked, Clarke took over as Reading FC managager"

And he also said Rory McIrloy would win sports personality of the year.
