Underwhelmed but wish him all the best

SanguineBinfield Royal but has shown the ability to build a team from a squad or "normal" players.
Based on what? As I posted earlier, he won 8 of his first 13 league games at West Brom with Hodgson's squad, then only 8 of the next 41 games before he was sacked.

Sanguine win more games than we lose before the end of the season.

Pepe the HorsemanOuroboros I had a dream about Steve Clarke last night. He was very cheerful and laughed a lot, and his small bald head made it look like he was a baby.
I'm a bit less positive about this appointment now that I've realised it wasn't real.
Are you sure you're not thinking of your baby?

andrew1957 Clarke has achieved nothing of note in management so far ad is a very dour character - hardly a positive motivator - whereas Brian took us to Wembley and got us promoted.

Avon Royal Hard to get excited by this appointment.
Oh well, it's a fairly open secret that the Thais are all but picking the team so I don't suppose it really matters who the manager is.

Better coach than manager, but then from the shambles we are currently in, a decent coach would have to be the priority. Maybe Hammond will do all the "manager" stuff, and let SC concentrate on the training ground? Let's face it, NH does already seem to do a lot of the manager's duties anyway, so makes sense.
?
Not knowing anything really about Steve C, who will be his number 2?

andrew1957 If true I am massively underwhelmed. I would even have rather we had stuck with NA than this. But would have much preferred Dolan or even Brian to come back.

Cannot believe that the vote is so positive. I hope I am wrong but if true I will be very disappointed.

KC Royal Underwhelmed for me. We've not got a good record with external appointments and he hasn't got experience in the Championship.

Three things:
- I'd argue that 7th in Prem with W.Brom is 'something of note' - Also W19, D14, L26 isn't bad in the Prem with a team like W.Brom
- Dolan has achieved less(/nothing) in management
- Dour? You mean like Coppell..? Hm..
