M Brook 'We will monitor the transfer market in the next window, but within the limits of Financial Fair Play, so therefore Steve has the right attributes to help our squad and he was our first choice.'
What on earth does this mean?

M Brook From the OS -
Co-Chairwoman Lady Sasima Srivikorn said 'We will monitor the transfer market in the next window, but within the limits of Financial Fair Play, so therefore Steve has the right attributes to help our squad and he was our first choice.'
What on earth does this mean?

Sutekh So he got WBA, perennial top division strugglers, to 8th place and was sacked the next season as realisation set in and they returned to their level of lower mid table "will they/won't they go down". Hardly a call to not at least give him a chance is it.

Mr Angry Steve Clarke's statement is a concern:
"I look forward to meeting the players and getting onto the grass with them."

Partaking in illegal substances that aren't even performance enhancing isn't the strategy for success I would have plumped for, but hey, I guess we are prepared to try anything.........

Turns8 The statement from RFC is the usual rubbish..."Steve has vast experience etc...worked with [list a load of big names from Chelsea & Liverpool]..."
I wasn't happy with Adkins...but this appointment is even more worrying...2 and a half year contract aswell...even more compensation then because I can't see him lasting the full contract...the guy is a coach who has only been any good at clubs with a strong manager...at West Brom as other have already said he inherited the good job Hodgson started...and eventually the momentum tailed off rapidly towards the end of that season...
At the start of the season I said I'd be happy with mid-table...the way things are going I fear that might even be a struggle...

Transfer Deadline day 1998 when we signed 7 players to save our season..... it didn't work, we were relegated.Duke the Dog2 I'm still stunned we've sacked a manager and hired a new one all within 24 hours! When did we ever do anything that quickly!!!
