God, the relief at actually managing to hold onto a lead without completely going into our shell in the hope of clinging on. We clearly still need to improve defensively to keep a clean sheet but happy with the three points for now.

I think we would have kept a clean sheet if it were not for the "Ref" and his 4th official

We were awful for the first 30 mins. Great second half performance though.

Agreed. First 20+ mins before the goal the gap in quality was significant to say the least! Good after that and great in the second half.

Sebastian Listening to the commentary it sounds like we were just caught not playing to the whistle. Can't get wound up at the ref for our own mistakes.

But we did play to the whistle, it's the ref that restarted the game when he shouldn't. Basic refereeing.

we were waiting to make a sub when McCleary went down, while he was being treated we had to get another sub ready, so we had 2 subs waiting to come on, the ref started play again again and our players clearly were not ready, expecting the subs to be made.

That was the best performance from a Reading side I've seen in months.

We beat a not particularly good Norwich side. We closed down the opposition all over the pitch, cleared our lines and attacked at pace. Not very difficult, such a shame we haven't done it all season.

One of their players kicked the ball and it went into the net.

Taking the positives:
1. It didn't cost us the game
2. It's a lesson learn't and therefore shouldn't happen again
