Hazard is way too inconsistant to be the best player around imo. Just blows hot & cold and turns up when he can be bothered.

Fabregas has been Chelsea's best player this season imo

Disagree there. Fabregas has been good. Matic has been great. First poor game for him was against Spurs. He looked a bit tired.

Lewis Baker's loan to Sheffield Wednesday is the 34th outgoing loan deal Chelsea have made this season.

Great work by the club. Pooling out young talent to get more experience. If they do well - it's good for both parties.

Not at all. Gerrard showed lack of ambition by not leaving Liverpool. He would have won the Premier League had he joined us.

I guess the death threats from Liverpool fans made up his decision.

Or he showed greater ambition by choosing to try and improve a poorer team to win trophies rather than go to Chelsea where he could have put in much less effort and coasted to titles

Would he have put in less effort had he joined Chelsea? I don't think so.

I would say he would havd had to work harder at Liverpool to win stuff than if he joined Chelsea as the quality of team mate would have been so different

you think he wouldn't have been in a position to be rested more often, been subbed on or off more often, not potentially rushed back from injury yet still have a better chance of winning stuff had he joined chelsea?

I would say, being the professional he is, he would have put in as much effort at either club.

Same amount of commitment? yes. same amount of effort? No. Doesnt mean he would be trying any less though, just means he would be in a position to relax more in games so would be using his effort levels more sensibly and professionally

Doesn't take away that he could have had an easier ride with better team mates and more rest yet still had a better chance of winning trophies.

there would also have been times when he was in a winning position earlier in the game if he went to Chelsea meaning he could play out the game in a more relexed fashion compared to 90 minutes of blood & thunder trying to win the game singlehandedly as he has done so often at Liverpool.

none of it means he would have been any less committed, its just than being in a better team would bring about a lot of perks which ultimately would have been easier for him while still giving him a better chance of winning trophies

That's excessive if it's 34 (or even close to it) players. There should be a cap on the number of players you can loan out as well as the number you can loan in.

Lampard wouldn't have been able to spend his entire time shinning in deflected goals after stumbling into the box if Gerrard had gone to Chelsea, so Chelsea fans must be delighted that their spawny legend didn't get ruined by a proper midfielder turning up.
