Two wins in a row, clean sheet. That'll do nicely

I fancy Birmingham (for revenge) or Cambridge ('coz i've never been to that ground) in the next round.

So how does SC fit Norwood, Williams, Guthrie and Karacan into the team now that all 4 are almost fully fit?

Also I see that Huddersfield have a player called Lolley.

Or LOLoLOLLOLey as I like to call him.

No - Jem wasn't involved but good to have him there on the bench!

P!ssed Off
Ian Royal
MmmMonsterMunch It's quite a delicious irony that the players are actually passing the ball better under Clarke

It's amazing what a decent couple of performances with improving results will do for you. And a largely fit squad.

I think you've mixed up cause and effect, ya daft git.

According to radio commentary players look like they are enjoying playing now (whereas against Brum they looked very tense before the game)

I think this is more likely to be responsible for the improved performance and the (current) manager can rightly take the credit

I should probably reserve this comment for after a few more matches under Clarke, but from what I'm hearing it sounds like a marked difference to under Adkins. He can't have been that bad, surely?

All signs point to yes I'm afraid. All very well Ian saying "Amazing what some decent performances and good results can do" but we were immediately better in his very first game........having had less than 48 hours with the players and having just come off the back of a 1-6 thrashing.

It's a new start and a chance to forget the previous problems that were getting everyone down. There's a need to play well to show what you can do and finally some actual competition for places with Cummings, Mackie, Guthrie and Karacan on fit.

Mentally we were shot to buggery but we always had a decent squad when most of them were fit.

It shows in the fan reaction too. It's not that long ago that a tedious performance with virtually no goal threat leading to a 1-0 win would have produced virtually no enthusiasm at all.

There was only one problem, once he was gone we're laughing

Looking forward to getting drawn against Derby, Brighton or Bolton on Monday

If that were the case we'd have beaten Watford and Brighton.

Must of been lots of gamesmanship going on, Huddersfield fans being extremely bitter on twitter.
