The use of 'Russian' insinuates a link to his nationality and the trait of being useless (or money grabbing) or simply your dislike to him for being Russian. There's no two ways about it. Had we been speaking about various people, 'Russian' could have been the differentiator, but this is a thread about Pogrebnyak and there was no confusion about who you were talking about. You could swap the word 'black' or 'ginger' and it becomes more obvious as to why you're wrong...

He wanted to play at a higher level yet got offered an exessive ammount of money to play for a Russian owner at Reading. His wife was happy as she could continue living in London. Who else would say no to this?! Ever since, he's put in a shift, become popular around the club but sadly for us fans, under-performed.

If he got offered a good contract at another club that suited: him, his family and the RFC then he'll be off, but until then, direct your hatred to our previous Russian owner

I would argue that Pog throughout his career at Reading has been referred to as Russian or Pog, I don't think when he called Pog that useless Russian, it was an insult based on his nationality, rather just insulting the player and referring to him as Russian.

Don't have a problem with Pog leaving per se - he genuinely has no interest in playing for us - but with Murray having gone back this is the time where we need to STRENGTHEN rather than offload FFS.

If our front options at the end of January consist of Cox, HRK, Blackman and Dominic Samuel then we will be relegated this season.

I specifically didn't call him a racist, I said that he was a casual racist - admittedly the two are similar but from someone who has spent many years living abroad (including Moscow right now) I'm very aware of the dangers of both racism,casual racism and general prejudice.

Whatever way you look at it, you cannot throw 'Russian' (or black/jewish/ginger/fat...) to a sentence if the thrust of the sentence is character assassinating. What part of that do you not get? I guess it shows how deep rooted the problems are for majority caucasians when they cannot see the problem...
