Hoop Blah Some interesting views in this BBC piece after last nights win over an average League Two side.

I've always been quite a Gerrard fan, and they will obviously miss him, but to say he dragged them through last night and that the goals were the only two moments of quality is overstating it quite a bit!
I think we're in for 5 months of this kind of thing.
My thoughts exactly. He has been a phenomenal player, but his form has dropped off considerably in the last 18 months, and I don't think they'll miss him. In fact were I Rodgers I'd be bedding Henderson in the Gerrard role now.
LFC forums were apoplectic when Rodgers dropped Manquillo for Gerrard against Leicester, shifting Henderson to right-back. Destroyed the dynamism they'd seen against Swansea.
