The Illuminati In terms of a striker I have heard Wenger wants Yaya Sanogo to go out on loan to a Ligue 1 club

One things for certain-if we don't get a replacement for Murray and Pog keeps P*****g around we will be in a relegation fight.

I could see this happening

IN: Left Midfielder or a Central Defender and a Striker
OUT: Drenthe (China) , Cummings (Loan)

I have Heard there is a possibility Alfie could make a shock return if we are willing to pay Cardiff what they paid for him back as he has not settled in Cardiff and they have just bought revel. anyone else got any thoughts on this???

Awful idea. We were lucky to get the money we did for him, Cardiff have realised he's not all that and want a refund..

We've got strikers like ALF already at the club, we need a good target man up front, that can do similar to Murray who we have just lost.

Missed out on Maierhofer.

My colleagues in Austria tell me he's been on fire for Magna and kick started their season.

Oh well. I'm sure Stevie has something up his sleeve

No chance. Not with Steve Clarke as boss.
We'll be solid and finish mid table, even if there aren't many goals for or against.
Blackman might be like a new signing in a central role, who knows?
Having Jem back will be like another new signing.
If the Albanians let this left back leave (can't remember his name), that's an actual good addition.
The wages freed up by Drenthe should be enough to at least loan a target man, if not, we'll have to adapt (which Calrkes teams are very good at) 'til Pogs coalescence is finally over!

JamesWN Cummings (Loan)

Why would we loan out a player whose contract is expiring at the end of the season?
tidus_mi2 We've got strikers like ALF already at the club,

The closest I can think of is Cox, who has a very different style of play. I agree that a bit of a physical presence would be preferable but Le Fondre would be a good signing, assuming we didn't pay as much as Cardiff.

marcusopp we'll have to adapt (which Calrkes teams are very good at)

Could you give an example?

Given we used the money to pay the tax man, I can't see us overspending on a player who couldn't force himself to be a mainstay of the first team. Even though I loved him. And he scores goals.

The Sun On Sunday says we want to buy Sam Clucas, a midfielder who plays for Chesterfield for a 'bargain' fee of £500,000.

Wolves also in for him apparently.

Not sure why we'd need a seventh midfielder when we've got 1 left back 1 left winger and 2 strikers.

He's a left midfielder. 4 goals an 2 assists so far this season, not too bad.

Ah, well that would change things somewhat.
