Boro4life boro point of view - should of won that we were wasteful your keeper is one of the best in the championship and had a great performance today. disappointed only word to describe that but a great performance by us apart from the fact we could not score.

Since I can't get to Reading of late I am always glad to pick up these snippets of information about our games. Thanks to all.

But can anyone tell me why this Robson-Kanu appears in the team. Have not seen a positive word about his performances.

Mr Breakspear - we've had him before. He should stick to brewing ...

According to BBCRB this was his Championship debut. So when have we seen him before?

Maybe as one of the other officials? We've definitely had him -cos I thought the same about his name last time.

Piss poor debut in my view - in fact absolute shocker at times.

Looking much rosier now. Biggest problem we had now seems to be sorting itself out in the defensive areas. Just need to find a predator up front now.
God knows what Adkins did to our defence but they look sharper and more confident and to have a turnaround that quickly just shows the quality of SC management.

Linesman at the 3-2 cup win at Loftus Road a few years back.

For a January game I thought it was pretty mild, about 6 degrees or so.

I think a lot of our defensive improvement is our midfield growing dramatically in strength and picking up a lot more of the defensive work it hadn't been dealing with previously. And of course, the defenders have cut out the spectacular and regular individual errors, presumably because their under less pressure and are more confident.

Mild hangover from the night before may have contributed. Had to buy a hat at half time.

Pearce on radio says defensive improvement us due to Clarke getting the midfield and defence to work closer and woek as a block and not allow so much space between the defence and midfield

Yeah, I'd say that tallies with what I've seen in previous games - I don't think the CBs are splitting as far / much as under Adkins either, which could be a suicidal at times especially with a weak, poorly organised midfield.

So finally someone has organised the team correctly. We've been crying out for that all season.
