In the rehearsal we pulled Palace away, which would have been much better :x

I'm only really annoyed as I'm in the UK that weekend and was planning to take my Grandad to the Wigan game as his b'day present (and my only game of the season). All I wanted if we won was any old home draw, or at worse a relatively close away draw i.e. London. Ah well.

I only found out at the last draw when it was mentioned that they have a rehearsal. Kind of annoyed me and takes away the so called maigic of the cup for me.

Surely the draw is the draw, a ONE time thing?

It is.

The rehearsal is not the draw. It's a rehearsal.

How difficult is it to remove a ball and call out a number?

That was a totally dull draw, and not just ours (which is obviously crap); 2 exceedingly boring all Premier league ties, and the most exciting tie probably being Arsenal v Middlesborough (though expect both the Man Utd and Liverpool games to get televised).

The best thing about the draw was Alex Jones.

Disappointed with the draw - but very winnable!

As my Derby supporting m8 said yesterday:

'The 18 points difference, 17 more goals scored, 17 fewer goals conceded and 6 fewer league defeats means nothing'

It is the worst draw we could have, but that just makes it all the better when we win. I didn't think much of Derby's gamesmanship when we played them at home - every time they lost the ball they fell on the floor - but we nearly matched them apart from the two first-half goals we set up for them, so I am quite confident we'll nick it.

Different manager, performances seem to have picked up, new midfield option, new left back (might not be relevant), defence seems more resolute.

Things have changed, we'll probably still lose mind, just don't think it will be as comfortable.
