Couple of things here - who is charging him ? The FA ? It's the League Cup i.e. it's a competition run by the Football League. Premiership sides are invited to compete (think that's right). If found guilty surely he should miss the final only. Also, if it is the FA charging him, well isn't that one of Gary Neville's employers ? He might get a little "shut the fcuk up" knuckle rap from the suits at Wembley. Oh, and I actually agree with Kes on this. Never should have bee charged in the first place.

Pepe the Horseman So Chelsea refusing to do a press conference ahead of the City game, because they won't accept Costa's charge of violent conduct. Mourinho is such a fcuking baby. He used to be a loveable rogue, but now he's just a moaning pcunt.

Moanrinho.

It's just Morinho's MO for success isn't.

Just not convinced that there was any malice in it at all. Looked to me like Can's ankle was just there, not that Costa put his foot on it.

I don't. No abnormal movement of the leg and he didn't even look down. Only Costa himself will know whether he meant it. Good to know the FA and regulatory panel can read minds! Laughable!

Haters gonna hate as they say.

At least G Nev and Lineker agree with my point of view.

No. Will Skrtel get a ban for the elbow on Costa in the first leg? 10 x worse!

Two "accidents" from Costa inthe one game then. Anyone would think he had a score to settle.

Maybe the FA "evened things up"

Yes - neither are unnatural movements towards the players involved.

Unlike this - that went unpunished by the FA,

Great piece by Gary Neville

It's also a shame this agenda has overshadowed, somewhat, the complete inept performance of Michael Oliver.

Failing to give Chelsea a penalty, possibly two.
Failing to give both Lucas and Henderson 2nd yellow cards, thus missing this weekends game.

But the booking Henderson got was never a yellow? You're right though, Oliver had an absolute 'mare, failing to spot two clear stamps from Diego Costa

This is why Chelsea can't be taken seriously.
