Cobi Many City plans for their expansion. I guess they didn't notice all the blue seats in their last few home games.

Spurs to leave White Hart Lane for 1 season while they redevelop the ground. Would expect them to end up playing games at one of Wembley, MK Bowl or Portman Road.

Why can't they play at the Emirates? Just for one season surely it would make sense?!

Spurs have an awe inspiring long waiting list for season tickets, Wembley seems like the obvious answer.

Failing that, Upton Park is available in 2016.

How come you didn't mention that Chelsea might be playing at Twickenham for 1 season, whilst Stamford Bridge is redeveloped to a 60,000 capacity?

Possibly because it isn't going to happen.

I think clubs need to do as much as they can to try can redevelop and extend their existing stadiums and try to avoid moving to a boring featureless bowl. The character that the old grounds have just isnt there with new ones, I think a change in design needs to be made to make them more interesting, so they dont all look the same and have that lack of atmosphere. (This is coming from someone who's not that old either, so I'm not stuck in the past)

I'm glad to see Liverpool are redeveloping Anfield, its great because we wont lose any of the character and atmosphere, it will only add to and improve it. Of course Chelsea and Spurs need to do the same which is not as easy, but I think it will happen eventually. If it means them playing somewhere else temporary then so be it, better than moving to a new ground.

Will be sad to see Upton Park go though, a classic football ground. The Olympic Stadium will be crap, it's a joke its being turned into a football ground, there is just no need.

Shame we didn't get Battersea imo and they sold out to a Malaysian consortium instead of letting a British institution have it. Now that would have been an iconic football stadium.

Chelsea FC, a British institution since 2003.

Shouldn't that be a Russian institution?

Look on the bright side, means there won't be an additional 15,000 tourists diluting the atmosphere even further.

You don't get tourists but your atmosphere is non - existent. So what you've said doesn't really make sense.

There are as yet undiscovered tribes of Amazonian Indians who knew you were going to reply with something along those lines

Topical with regards to both Batersea and Mourinho's recent comments so makes perfect sense to those with sense.

Here's an equation for you

Chelsea have tourists = quiet
Reading don't have tourists = quiet

So I can't see your justification about being racist towards the tourists at The Bridge.

AC Milan's new ground, opening in 2018.

dont like the look of the inside pictures. Always thought the height with which many Italian grounds back is impressive, this new ground seems to have lost that.
