If Guthrie goes, it leaves us with a good combination of centre mids. Williams, Norwood, Karacan, Chalobah on loan till the end of the season, Taylor. This then gives Kuhl time to develop further and when Chalobah leaves (if he does), it gives Kuhl and Tish a chance to step up, but without the pressure of the start of the season where we were hampered by injuries and with a manager that empthasised possession so much, whenever a player lost possession they were slated. Also, as mentioned, its a relatively young, yet relatively experienced midfield, Norwood, Karacan and Williams have been playing at a level similar to this for ages now.

I hope he is in the right frame of mind for any impending move, we don't want him missing out!

On too much money. Not committed enough. Too injury prone. And just not very good anyway. Get rid.

How can you possibly judge whether he is committed enough?

I agree he is on too much money and is injury prone but he can boss the midfield on his day. I rate him but Norwood is cheaper, younger and of similar quality.

Don't get carried away - there's no real evidence that he's leaving is there?

A player who epitomised the demise of RFC over the last 3 Years, and who should have been sacked for his refusal to travel up to Sunderland.

He won't be missed and anyone who thinks he might end up in the Premier League is delusional.

I suspect he'll do a bit of a Leigertwood, leave with no club, play a coupe of pre-season friendlies and then exist in an perpetual state of injuredness. TBF Reading FC has been pretty bad for him as he has for the club.
