26-10-06 Bradford at home.

Are all games Saturday or Sunday?

I think it's 2 on Saturday (lunchtime and early evening) and 2 on Sunday (lunchtime and late afternoon)

So a massive trek to Blackburn on Sunday for a 4.30 kick off it is then.

My m8 is on the fixtures committee and he tells me you have Villa at home.

AirRaidSiren Arsenal away

Mertersaker v Yak in a one on one chase. You could make leave the room and make a cup of tea and they would still be running towards the 18 yard box. :D

I don't fancy playing them in all honesty, but I have to say Yak would give them issues. Hes clearly still got the finishing capabilities and they are known to get in a right mess in their area with their marking. Was disappointed with Boro yesterday.

Suspect it will be West Brom but I really don't fancy playing a Pullis team either. I think we could make light work of Bradford home or away. The big clubs that went out and don't like it rough which we can cope with at our level.

Not Liverpool nor Arsenal-I think either of those would be just too quick for us all over the pitch and we would see even less of the ball than we normally do.
SC presumably would like WBA
Many fans might like the opportunity to avenge that Villa game and earlier in the League Cup.
Parky-a popular choice of game, a good story and a real chance of winning
Preston-very winnable
Blacburn-the game that nobody really wants
What will be will be (we're going to Wemberley etc.) and HRK can continue his amazing scoring run in the FA Cup when I think somebody has told him he is playing for Wales.

8 of our last 9 cup draws in all competitions have been away from home.

24 of our last 56 FA Cup draws have been against a team from our own division, including each and every one of the last 5 draws.....all of which were away from home.

14 times in our last 23 FA Cup campaigns we have been knocked out by a team in our own division.

Our record vs teams from our own division in the FA Cup over those last 23 seasons reads:

P24 W3 D7 L14

It is absolutely 100% certain and guaranteed we will be playing Blackburn away.

Silver Fox I want no part of John Stead thank you very much

I'd like his head, on a spike.

Forgotten how to edit or quote but Blackburn of course has a "k" in it and Man Utd might beat Preston so if they do get through it would be interesting to see whether we play more long balls (passes) than they do.

Apologies Daddy, my selective stats were from seasons 1991/92 to 2013/14 inclusive.

The 3 teams we have beaten from our own division in the FA Cup in that time are:

Peterborough H 1-0 91/92 Rd 2 (replay after 0-0 draw)
Orient H 3-0 92/93 Rd 2
WBA A 3-2 AET 09/10 Rd 5 (replay after 2-2 draw)

Apologies Daddy

I find this slightly uncomfortable. But I like it.

Ascotexgunner I think we could make light work of Bradford home or away.

I'm not sure you've seen the team this season.

Really don`t think I want to watch the draw. every time a home ball comes out you are waiting for number 7 to follow it. seems almost certain number 6 Blackburn, will play....number 7 Reading . or bloody Arsenal again
