Sutekh Going to be a traditional old fashioned cup tie and we are going to get hit by a whirlwind from the kick off.

Pitch up there is very bobbly apparently so they're obviously going have the advantage on that front.

Really hoping SC is on the ball over this and ensures our lot are suitably wound up so they know exactly what to expect from Bradford esp. Stead, Clarke, Nott, Morais and McArdle.

Also I reckon we'll get the midday Sunday slot so should be good travel wise for us all.

An Akpan surface rather a Norwood one.

Turns8 Will RFC want to risk having to take 4000 tickets and not selling them (but having to pay for the lot) or will they go for the safe option of taking 1800 which is the TL Dallas Stand, used by away fans.... :? this is even before the usual points debacle... I'm happy to be proved wrong though RFC if you are reading this..

This is exactly what happened 4 years ago against City in the QF. Surely they've learned their lesson?

What is exactly what happened...? The last time we made the Q/Fs of the F.A. Cup was 5 years ago home to Villa on 7 March 2010 (my 50th).

Unless the club decide to heavily subsidise away travel then I can see this reaching general sale. Most of the time you hear of great demand for these fixtures but very few times do they sell out very quickly. Nonetheless IN! for this

I reckon we'll take about 3,000. Its a 4 hour journey, live on TV. Plus the club had 1,000 derby tickets unsold so lost money, I doubt they will take the risk and request the full allocation of 4,000.

The pitch really worries me from what I saw of their game against Sunderland, but I think this is a solid draw even if it is not the best we could have had. My friend who is an Arsenal supporter put it well when he said, "they seem to kill giants, but then again Reading isn't exactly a giant are they?"

If a club takes the minimum allocation they don't pay for unsold tickets. Much like when Man C boycotted Arsenal.

Surely the perfect opportunity for a large screen at the madstad, ala Brentford.

Not really as this one's screened live on national Tele. I'd rather go down the boozer - better atmosphere.

Have you seen the state of our pitch? It will be as bad as Bradford's by the time we play them so we should be use to it by then

Delboy We will take the full 4000 need STAR to push the club for free coaches ( like Man City in 2011) as trains and driving difficult . 60-80 coach loads would be great atmosphere!

How is driving there difficult?

6 coaches would be a terrible atmosphere, nevermind 60 you bellend

Turns8
Bottom line is finances...or lack of and whether the club want to take the risk of the larger allocation bearing in mind the distance and the fact it will be televised and have to pay for it or go with the safe option and making as much money as possible out of the game to help with the debts...the fans wishes won't come into it...
If they take all 4,000 tickets at say, £15 a ticket - that's a pretty low investment when weighed up against the prize money won so far in the Cup. Especially when there's a 50% chance of selling all 4,000.

It's interesting reading the Bradford forum / news threads. I think their bigging up being the underdog sounds a bit hollow (compared with premier league teams) as the difference in league placing isn't that large and they certainly have some momentum in their league along with home advantage.

doesn't matter if they are bottom of the conference or top of the premier league with their pitch and the fact this is an fa cup 1/4 final will makes game a leveler, neither players or fans will go into to this with any complacency

So effing in for this. Why do we need free coaches laid on? It's not that far. We have enough star bellends who go anyway.

Will literally be so embarrassing if we struggle to sell out, will also prove how shit our fans are.

Missed the point really didn't you.

Shouldn't need free travel to sell this out.
