IN for the Saturday.

Sadly a Sunday fixture implies the Nags Head, hopefully, but more likely Walkabout :|

Hoping that the club's selection policy will give first dibs to Reading fans who have travelled to Valley Parade to watch us there before. There won't be many hundreds of us, that is for sure :wink:

We haven't played them in over 10 years. So some of us have hardly had the chance :wink:

Went to a mid-week cup league game some years ago as I was working in the area, I think Dean Windass scored.

Seems the game is going to be on BT Sport. Don't know if this helps us figure out which day we're playing though. Would guess the early saturday slot if the beeb want United-Arsenal at the prime time evening saturday slot.

LWJ So effing in for this. Why do we need free coaches laid on? It's not that far. We have enough star bellends who go anyway.

Will literally be so embarrassing if we struggle to sell out, will also prove how shit our fans are.

LOL

"Hate other fans at away games...we'd better sell out our allocation"

LOL

Missed the point really didn't you.

Shouldn't need free travel to sell this out.

I won't need any travel at all.

From Despair To Where? i've been waiting nine years for a "home" game and the circumstances really don't get bigger than this. The one team left in the draw that i'd be least pissed off to lose to but i really don;t want to lose with the carrot of a Wembley Semi final dangling.

Club should take the whole side stand but only take half the tickets for now if they're worried. Then depending on demand can take the other half or Bradford can have it (hope not) and the stand can be segregated.

Ticket sales are split 50/50 anyway so not the end of the world if we were short of selling the whole 4,200, never mind the tv money and FA prize fund for getting this far.

The combination of an early kick off, long distance, recent shit performances, and being on TV will make it pretty unlikely we'll even take 2000 IMHO.

I was planning to go but the early start means no pub pre-match and I'm still fuming after last night's abject performance.

With only one train out of Reading that morning @ £100+ at 06.00 that stands any chance of making kick off I tend to agree. I know there were problems actually getting to Derby but that shouldn't of stopped people buying tickets.We had 1000 left so I am thinking somewhere around the same 16-1800 ish to make the trip to Bradford.

There are two other options on travelling rather than paying ridiculous amounts of money for the vagaries of public transport.....

Join STAR and go by coach or
Get together with a driver and some mates and hire a small minibus/people carrier

We really should do better than failing to take even a couple of thousand to the latest biggest proper cup game we've had since 1927

Bradford ticket news

by Clyde1998 » 18 Feb 2015 20:48

Based on what I've heard - prices are the same as Bradford's game against Sunderland. This means:

Bradford ticket prices:
Adults: £15
"Seniors": £10
"Students": £10
U16s: £5

Also "Reading will be allocated the whole of Midland Road" - which holds 4,500.
