Decent, got positive comments but needs to take his chances.

Good to see Tishbola going out and getting some first team football.

He's never quite done it for me personally but he's certainly one that looks like he's got a great deal of quality.

I'd like to see Kuhl get a similar chance once we're sure Karacan and Guthrie are 100% fit and set for the rest of the season (or we make further changes in that area through January - unlikely).

I know it's daft to rate someone based on one performance, but if I were Moore, I'd make sure we get that Tshibola on loan til the end of the season first thing Monday morning

I personally prefer central midfielders who can play like Woods and Tshibola played today, get in both boxes for a start and get the team playing at a decent tempo.

I think one of the rags had tshibola in their team of the day. Guessing he was a breath of fresh air and gives a decent interview too.
(after his debut)

And he's already scored a goal (Samuel that is); also Tshibola played full 90 for Hartlepool in a home win ....

Wimbledon fans very impressed with Tanner after his first match, less so today.

Dickie and Moore have played two matches in the past few days. Moore terrible against Boreham Wood, DIckie got an assist but wasn't great at set pieces. Today, Basingstoke won 4-0, no goals or assists for Dickie but it would be surprising if either were particularly challenged.

Samuel scored and created a chance with some clever footwork. He also missed a good chance but we can probably forgive that! Coventry's complete lack of decent strikers really works in his benefit, could see him breaking double figures if he plays all season and gets some service.

Highlight of the day was definitely Tshibola though. Assist for Hartlepool, and made MOTM despite Jonathan Franks scoring twice:

He's also extended his stay until the end of the season and has allowed them to change formation and style of play. Good partnership with Michael Woods by all accounts.

Not such a great week.

Highlights have been recent performances by Dickie and Moore. Dickie described as "faultless" in the 4-0 victory last week, then got an assist against Bromley in an otherwise underwhelming performance. He also had a forgettable performance against Maidenhead, where Moore made up for two poor performances with a MOTM one, making several good saves to keep the score to 3-2.

Dominic Samuel played 90 minutes for Coventry as they lost 1-0. He had two shots, one saved and one missed. He won a free kick and gave away a foul.

Aaron Tshibola played 80-ish minutes for Hartlepool, got booked quite early on, and was subbed to allow an extra striker on.

Craig Tanner didn't play.

Dominic Samuel grabs 2 goals for Coventry, on Saturday

He's already their 3rd top scorer this season

Nah, let#s not ruin him here. Let him get in a rich vein of scoring form in the division below and then try to step up, rather than panic and try and make him the answer to all our problems now off the back of a brief run of form.

Agreed, lets hope he continues how he has started because I think he should be here at the start of next season.

I think so yeah, but he might be worth hanging on to IMO. With some of the other players leaving we should be able to afford it easily as well. That's assuming he wants to stay here of course :!:

I'm guessing if he continues to do well, he'll have plenty of offers and will go elsewhere. Never had a sniff here, so no reason for him to want to stick around.

'Greed.

I don't think our problems are with the strikers anyway, are they? Federici is in poor form and our wingers aren't creating enough and only one of our midfielders is doing well. Pogrebnyak is one of our best performers at the moment, along with Williams.

I am slightly worried that he might want to go elsewhere, but remember, we know he has a big bone with Adkins specifically. Having said that, Clarke's record with youth isn't great, so if he can't break in under a supposedly youth-friendly manager then I wouldn't blame him for wanting to go somewhere he'd feel more appreciated. Again though, it's only four goals - Simon Cox has been through better scoring runs at that level.

Updates on our other players:
Tanner and Tshibola played against each other. Hartlepool won 1-0. Wimbledon fans are not happy with Tanner, who apparently doesn't fit into their system at all. Hartlepool fans are totally enamoured with Tshibola, despite their poor performances and results.

Rob Dickie played 90 minutes for Basingstoke. He was elbowed in the head and the opposition player was sent off. They drew 0-0 with an inferior side, and missed a penalty. Dickie also missed a tricky chance from the corner of the box.

Dom Hyam started for Hemel Hampstead in a 2-2 draw with Ebbsfleet. No match report yet. Usually he's the only defender not mentioned, which is quietly promising.

I think a large part of the problem is with the strikers, yes.

Good idea from Reading to let him out on loan to the division we'll be playing in next season :?
