Actually having 9 shots is something of an achievement in itself, especially in just 45 minutes

It's only a couple up on average across 45

Well Bolton are achieving better than us then as they have also had 9 but managed to get 3 on target.

I wouldn't look too much into shots on goal stats lads, apparently we had 9 shots in Huddersfield game :!: I promise you, not one of them was a decent chance.

Ian Royal No, because (as he's behaving today) he's a total mental case who can't control himself, commits stupid cynical fouls repeatedly, gets totally unnecessary red cards and is generally just a total bellend. I couldn't give a flying one where he went when he left or why, other than to laugh at the idiots for paying massively over the top for the useless shite.

You've got this totally back to front. Only one of them has been part of a solid Championship title winning defence. It isn't Mills.

Ok, its clear you are very bitter about him leaving, but this not about hate, or stats for that matter. Mills is a far better footballer than Pearce, then again, I know you dont watch us live very often so I dont expect you to understand.

Mills is nowhere near Pearce when they're both at their best. You're really not in a position to ad hom other people.

Mills-Hector would be a terrible defensive partnership, given neither has any positional sense and both rely largely on their physical attributes. Might as well re-sign Sonko while we're there...

"Facts don't matter" is top-level trolling though.

Royally Fcuked A total tosser, what because he left to join his hometown club who looked a better shout than we did for promotion at the time?

Wasn't he born in Swindon m8?

You're both wrong. Born in Leicester, raised in Swindon (they'd moved there by the time Joe was born).

In that case......apologies to Royally Fcuked :)

EDIT: Because I am such a bloody-minded sod I just Wiki'd it to check.....and was amused to discover that Matt Mills middle name is 'Claude'

Being pedantic, he was raised in Cricklade not Swindon.

Miss chance after chance. Bolton plug away and get some luck. I'm truly shocked.

Bolton 13 shots, 6 on target of which one now in back of the net! Pretty straight forward law of returns really.
