Very embarrassing! Having earlier explained to my seven year old about what happened 30 years ago and to not worry because it is much safer now, for him to see smoke was probably very scary!

The sight of smoke billowing across Valley Parade is not one I personally enjoy for very obvious reasons. A bloody ridiculous act from somebody who I can only presume is a complete moron.

Other than that I thought yours fans were great both inside and outside the stadium but badly let down by a classless and thoughtless individual.

Some of the kiddie winks think pyrotechnics in the stand are cool. Hopefully they'll grow up at some point. TBH I don't think they're bright enough to have done it as a deliberate provocation.

Bradford fan here, regarding the smoke bomb, you are quite right in that it is insensitive. I don't like the idea of even one person having any bad memories brought back by seeing smoke coming from the stands. But genuinely, I don't think that any Bradford fans thought for one minute that there was any malice intended. We just thought, ah, they have some nob head fans too
