Can't see Knight being cup tied, but he won't be eligible for Monday. I'm sure RFC ladies will make sure the men know the rules on eligibility....

RoyalBlue You can get high quality items at very good prices shopping at Lidl and Aldi. However when you only frequent the 99p store you really are asking to be bitterly disappointed.

It's starting to look like Hammond is a big fan of:

Not to sure of the point being made. However we have a good record signing bargains and a pretty poor one splashing large sums. I'm pleased he's not splashing cash at the moment as we wouldn't be allowed to play our big price ticket signings until August.....

Insightful analogy. Perhaps he only has 99p to spend. Which doesn't go far, even in Lidl and Aldi. Our shirts might say we shop at Waitrose, and our board might give the media and ourselves the impression we have an account at Selfridges. The reality is Mr Hammond is obliged to shop for bargains, and hang around late at night by the skips. I think he does bloody well considering.

I have trouble with anyone whose parents struggled to spell Zak correctly.

Deadlock
SPARTA Cup tied, 34, excited!

:?: For who?

Perhaps he means he's ineligible for the replay as he was signed after the original tie.
If we get through I'd expect him to be available though.

Brilliant signing. Means we can rest Hector on Saturday!

Also we was on trial at Watford, so in line to put in 1 inspired performance and then never play for us again.

Hoop Blah Totally agree on Ferdinand VM, and I think pretty much everyone else did too. Apart from the relationship with the Thais I just can't understand why we signed him.

Ferdinand signed with Thai Police, Samrit's side.... then they realised he signed after the deadline so was ineligible to play for them for the season, which ironically wouldn't have made any difference due to his injuries, So Samrit palms him off to Reading FC - I would assume though that he is paying his wages one way or another, but maybe not, maybe the owners are okay with this due to Samrit's involvement/support given I other ways.

Yakubu and Zat Knight - At least they're only on short term contracts, so perhaps a gamble worth taking. However, the focus should be on staying above relegation and building for next season.

I think that is the only reason we signed him.

He was on trial there last week and either they were slow in following up their interest or didn't want him so we nipped in. If he is selected I hope he is outstanding.

This is the kind of signing Ferdinand should have been. We certainly need some better experience at the back than Pearce has and he should help the young talents like Cooper and Hector. If he's fit and starts off well his experience could really show at this level. I'll make an early prediction that he will do well.

I hope we never see him play, and that's not being antiZat.
Even if Pearce was injured (and Clark has said he's fine) Cooper and Hector are more than capable of playing out the rest of the season. Both comfortably good enough at this level and would benefit from a run in the side. They could be an excellent long term pairing for us.

It's another one of those 'why-not' signings. Hopefully he will never play for us but i'd rather have him in the squad than not. All it takes is Pearce and Hector to get injured (not impossible) and we're seeing out the season with no experienced CB.

That's a bit harsh, he might be pretty good, we don't know.

I wish Pearce wasn't fine for Bradford tbh, absolute liability (athough he wasn't too bad in the first game.) As you can tell I completely agree on Cooper and Hector, I just think they should be our CB pairing not just for next season and the future but for now as well.

Pearce has over 200 Championship and Premier League appearances to his name. He's got plenty of experience.
