Careful. You will have the dinosaurs/misogynists after you, posting something about one of our female stars on the team board!

I get an awful lot of things wrong, but I tipped Fran as a future England star soon after she returned to playing for Reading (my post is somewhere on HNA for the record).

Talking of getting things wrong, fair play to JM, the man I love to hate (usually for some very valid reasons), for the support he provided to Fran.

Seriously inspirational, can't imagine what she's had to overcome.

What a lovely girl. A real credit to her late mum and the club.

maffff

By womens football standards we have a player with the potential of Gylfi in Fran Kirby...

Fran has already surpassed him! A future women's international football star without any doubt at all. She is an extremely exciting and entertaining player who terrorises defences with her speed, skill and eye for goal.

She deserves a lot of credit for that. Good luck to her.

Scored all 4 goals in win tonight, perhaps she should be giving lessons to her male counterparts

In what ?
I'm not sure she'd be quite so effective against Championship centre backs !!
Good start to the season for her and the Ladies though.

Doesn't she train with the 1st team as she is the only professional player at Reading Ladies?

Yep! Well, she might train with the U21s or something but definitely the first professional player.

Fairly sure she trains with the U21s. If Liam Kelly can do it then I'm sure she can too...

B*llocks! Where on this site does it say Reading Football Club>> 'The men's Team'?. And anyway, she now trains with the male academy guys.

If only a few more of her male counterparts had the same attitude towards the club:

A really nice young lady too. Will always be one of the first from the team to spot you, say hello and ask how you are.

Reading Football Club are happy to tweet about the ladies team on the official account (rather than create a RFC Ladies account), so discussing them on The Team board would seem more than appropriate!

Saw her in the Tesco petrol garage in Emmer Green a couple of weeks back. True story.
