As it stands the Premier League is on course to drop a place down to 3rd in the UEFA coefficients ranking with the Bundesliga moving up into 2nd.

Could change depending on how the respective leagues perform in europe for the rest of this season but right now the Bundesliga is ahead of the PL.

top 3 teams in the UEFA coefficients ranking get 4 Champions League places.

As it stands, Serie A are in 4th place and are quite a long way behind 3rd, but if english teams had a 'mare in Europe next season and Italian teams happened to do well then things could get interesting
