parking possible tip.

Behind Wembley Central station is a public car park, easy walk away from stadium, and if you turn left from it and follow sat nave it takes you out to the A40 pretty easily.

Now not going thought would share this info, but is busy for shoppers, but good if you can find a space.

If it's the one I'm thinking of don't you turn right on exit ?
It used to be the very best place to park for Wembley games, ridiculously cheap and easy to get away from post match. Used to do final whistle to home in an hour....

I actually find Stanmore tube car park is fine too. About 5 stops from Wembley and generally the flow of passengers is from central London to Wembley, so going from Wembley out of town northwards is usually a breeze. Well it was for the p-off final and we'll be using same route again.

Something magical about tube termini too.

District line aside I guess.

Leave the car at home, have some beer and lube up your vocals!

Train and tube for me but if anyone is driving.....when I go for England games I usually book a spot with the website http://www.parkonmydrive.com

Go for one in a side street off the A404 just south if the stadium. Usually a few to choose from in those streets. Used it 5 times now and never had any bother. Easy access to nth circular after the game. They all charge £15.

Parked there last night for the England game and was in reading 45 mins after the game

A bit of local knowledge - head for Pinner Tube Station, the car park right next to the station is free at the weekend. Holds around 300 cars and never seen more than fifty cars in it on a Saturday. Couple of nice boozers in Pinner as well, like the Queens Head in the old High Street and then from Pinner its 5 stops (15 mins) on the Met Line to Wembley.
