Ian Royal
Ark Royal Serious question: How long will it take consistent failures at this level of the competition before England's UEFA co-efficient is low enough for only three teams to qualify from the Premier League?

Oh the fun that would produce.

We'd have to be doing worse than Italy, so the answer has got to be: not for quite a while yet.

What's with those club flags being waved every time Arsenal score?

Up there with goal music and the other gimmicky tourist tat.

Our only hope is that they get complacent and forget to actually try to score... we might only lose by 2 or 3 then.

I just remember the quarter final of the league cup where we narrowly lost to Middlesborough. On the day the semi final first leg was to be played (it would have been Liverpool) we lost 4-1 away to Bradford.

My memory of the game is slightly hazy. I think Carl Asaba scored first and then we capitulated and it could have been double figures. I remember chatting with a friend wondering how many goals we would have conceded at Anfield that evening.

I have the same feeling about next week.

If it's any consolation, Arsenal are a bit pony at the back. Keep it tight and do well at set pieces and you might just sneak it. Would do well to mirror Palace's performance against City last night.

To be brutally honest (and it really pains me to point this out) we're not half the team Palace are at the moment.

There's a man who truly embodies everything it is to play for Reading currently.

If I could work out how to put a MEH head on him, I would.

To be brutally honest, who would have thought Bradford would have knocked out Chelsea?

Royality creeps In Arsenal fans won't be concerned yet as the annual St Toteringham day is never far away

Arrived yesterday.
With the goal difference and 12 points clear it is unlikely that the lily whites will catch arsenal
Class shone through in the end.

Of course we will put them to the sword on Saturday as we have the goal scoring machine that is pog. Our Harry cane

Anyone have any ideas what we can use for set pieces, certainly don't have any options at the moment ?

For all the LOLs Arsenal have provided in the last few years.......have to say it looks like another top side in the making from what I've seen of them this season - Monaco CL defeat aside.

A bit more defensive solidity and they're close to being formidable title contenders again IMO - absolutely bags of goals in them from almost every position.
