U18s as well.
First 10 games: 1W 2D 7L
Next 12 games: 9W 1D 2L

Unfortunately this turnaround came just 1 point too late.
After 22 games the U18 Cat 1 teams split into 3 groups for a 7 match Final Stage. Reading U18s missed out on the top group by 1 point:

I expect our good form will mean we'll win this middle group Final Stage. But there's no promotion/relegation so no great prize on offer.

I think there was a point where there was too many teams so the bottom half teams and the new teams formed division 2.

Disagree, thought Daniel Crowley looked good as well. Their keeper was pretty solid too. Arsenal played some good football at times but it was mainly very err...Arsenal i.e. nice passing but hesitant to shoot.

Liam Kelly playex well and Fosu was a threat all game (nearly scored a stunner at the end). Keown was quality, in addition to the goal, and you can tell the couple of years he's spent around the first team have had an impact.

Big game next week too, away to Derby who are currently in 2nd place. Diaby only played 56 minutes in the end but Wilshere played almost the full 90. Incredible to go to the Emirates against such a strong Arsenal side and win. Now 6 points off the leaders Middlesbrough with a game in hand.

Noticed Stacey wasn't playing last night, being saved for the Bournemouth game tonight? McCleary carrying a knock?

Yea it was split for this season. Always thought it would be a tall order to finish in the top half last season, but obviously given our cup win and general form in the second half of the season there was a feeling of what if. Personally glad that our peak form came at the right time to win the cup.

Didn't realise that two went up this season, assumed it was just 1, so we have a chance of promotion this season, but we need to keep the unbeaten run going next week, preferably with a win as Arsenal just below have a game in hand on us.

Went to this last night after work. Thought we were extremely good value for the win having to defend much of the second half with Arsenal not really forcing much out of Dan Lincoln. The player who stood out for me was Conor Shaughnessy who was my MOTM.

U21's picked up a great 1-0 win away to second placed Derby. Now 1 point behind them with a game in hand.
