Pepe the Horseman I didn't even see that. There was a fat ginger bloke near us who took his shirt off though. You should've come in mate. Was only £1.50 a beer from across the road.

Were you buying beers from a shop then?

At one stage I went in there to get a round in and spent around 30-35 minutes getting to the bar and then waiting for service. Should have gone to the shop too

There was an alleyway down the side of the entrance. We just hopped over the wall with our cans 1 by 1.

That's probably why I waited so long!

I was at The Torch at about 3.30, getting inside was a pain but they were serving from a table in the car park as well. Choice of either Kopparberg or Fosters, but only took a couple of minutes to get served.

We were just buying beers from the off licence and lobbing them over the fence, where everyone was pissing.

Provisional plan is to be there about 2, but there's shitty engineering works going on, so that probably won't be the case.

Due to these engineering works didn't get to The Torch until about 3.45 in the end (having had a late lunch in 'spoons at London Victoria where I saw a few royals). Was amazed when I arrived, it's never been even remotely close to being as busy as that before! Good to experience the atmosphere, even if it was for only half an hour or so.

No Fixed Abode

It's always the ones who shouldn't take their shirts off that do.

So it's not a Nobber? No one going to name and shame? I liked the 'What a f*cking athlete' song that some of the nearby spectators added to his antics.
