Lovely stuff. At least his dad doesn't seem too bitter.

Great work. Brilliant to see Ryan Duval going in his place, much more deserving than that spoilt little turd.

Wait a second, people actually rang up the FA and complained about the kid? That's even more pathetic than Jester hats and face paint.

Most people complained on Twitter and on here - I expect the club spoke to the FA really.

Our missing tickets were returned to the club yesterday as sent to wrong address.

Thought most people who complained about stuff like that were 60+ and still phoned up or wrote a letter. You know, the points of view crowd.

Agreed. Definitely the (justified) social media reaction. It's getreading that says it was 'Reading fans' who complained but the FA statement says nothing of the sort.

It is understood the FA acted swiftly to protect Ryan from any abuse from the 31,000 Reading fans due at Wembley

Does anyone know why there were a significant number of empty seats in Block 104 on Saturday (in the Red Tickets area) - given all Red tickets were supposed to have been sold on the first day? My asuumption is a load of corporates got priority and then did not turn up.

No idea - but when I went to the ticket office to swap seats in block 104 the chap behind the counter had a great wodge of seats available from row 24 up to 27.

104 was the extra block the club kept back - then put on sale at the very end once everyone had a ticket.

There was loads of empty seats in the upper tear

I got block 104 on the first day though by 10:19am in fact. When the tickets were eventually sent out - they were in row 2. They changed them for seats further back.

They kept the back rows back then....think this was for the corporate people but they didn't sell them all, so then went on 'general sale'

I got row 5 in block 104 around the same time on the first day. Didn't swap mine and enjoyed being that close - usually in the back row for home games so made a nice change to see life-sized footballers.
