Royalwaster Was all intent on renewing my ST until today ... have now pretty much decided not to and instead to buy match tickets and wait and see till Xmas. Just too depressing watch this crap ...

How will you know which games are going to be worth buying a ticket for?

Are the club not worried that quite a number of current season tickets holders will start going next year on the free under 7 ticket instead?

What stops me taking one of these free ST on the seat next to me, just to stop mongs sitting there?

What stops some guy taking a ST for each of his little darlings, who have no interest in football, on the off-chance they'll come to 1 game at some point if mummy lets them? If you've got a kid under 7, you'll be thinking 'they're free, I might as well have one!'

What stops me asking my friend to get one of these ST and using it for myself for the entire season? I've never seen a concession ticket being checked/challenged on the gates at RFC.

This is the issue with free things, people will take them even if they're not needed and abuse them.

You'd have to be pretty thick to think you'd get away with that.

New ticketing gate system is in over the summer hence the new drive for additional match day staff.

Feel free to try it out and see what happens.

I'll buy tickets for the first few - and if the dross of this season continues I'll give it a miss .... and I anyway pretty much can never make it to mid-week games anyway due to work/family commitments. Might still change my mind though, as having been a ST now for the last 10 years feels a bit sad not renewing ... and the cost itself is not really a major issue.

There could already be adults going in on childrens tickets

There is a steward inside each gate looking at lights on the wall. A different light flashes for Adult and Concession when you go through the gate.

If a light comes up for concession and you look between 21 and 65, they will ask to see your ticket.

If lucky you might sneak through once if the stewards aren't paying attention. Not a chance you'd get away with this for very long.

I was pulled once when I inadvertently gave my ticket to my son and he used mine. Orange light went on for me and i was asked to see my card. Explained the error and was let through. Pretty sure they're a little more alert than most think.

My old man decided to take his girlfriend to a game recently, think it was Cardiff, and thought he'd be a jammy git and buy her a concessions ticket (she's mid 30s but could probably pass for late 20s). Needless to say she got pulled up going through the gates and he had to go back to the ticket office and pay for the upgrade  absolute plonker.

I have been a season ticket holder for 40 years, if you do not support the club in the bad times , then the good times can not come, the club need the income to invest in players!

They have been known to make you buy a new ticket (full match day price ) and then apply for a refund on the one you were misusing. And as they don't do refunds you have a tough job getting your mon EU back....

With the U7 tickets I also suspect they will do spot checks in the ground, if a non u7 is sat in an u7 seat you may get a visit during the game.....

Fairly sure he just had to pay the difference, by the time he was back from the ticket office he'd missed the first 10 minutes of the game so I was more interested in the match than resuming taking the mick out of him.

I hadn't though about how people could book an u7 season ticket and have no one sat there, hope this doesn't happen.

With the fantastic pricing on the concessions ticket and increase to the age band I'm hoping for an improvement in attendances and atmosphere next season. The last thing we need is loads of empty seats dotted around where people have reserved one for their child to come to a game or two a season when the other half fancies a break.

Gr8 Structure and idea to increase 21 to 24. Suits me nicely. £135 is an absolute bargain, regardless of what dross we get served on the pitch. Will get a culture shock when i turn 25 in a few years but hopefully I'll be earning enough then to justify the adult ticket, guess that's the point of the increase in age. Well done RFC

Lucky you, I turned 25 this season so I've missed even 1 season of this new age band! You young whipper snappers.

Its about time we also brought the senior ticket down to 60 years of age rather than 65. That would swing my decision to renew!
