West Stand Man Its about time we also brought the senior ticket down to 60 years of age rather than 65. That would swing my decision to renew!

Retirement age is going the other way old boy. Concessions should start again at 70

blueroyals What stops me taking one of these free ST on the seat next to me, just to stop mongs sitting there?

What stops some guy taking a ST for each of his little darlings, who have no interest in football, on the off-chance they'll come to 1 game at some point if mummy lets them? If you've got a kid under 7, you'll be thinking 'they're free, I might as well have one!'

.

Boy that is such a valid point! What seemed a great and nice idea from the club, now doesn't appear to have been very well thought out! The club could end up having given away say, 1,000 seats, many of which might remain unoccupied for the majority of games but which they won't be able to sell if demand increases!

P!ssed Off
Winston Smith There could already be adults going in on childrens tickets

There is a steward inside each gate looking at lights on the wall. A different light flashes for Adult and Concession when you go through the gate.

If a light comes up for concession and you look between 21 and 65, they will ask to see your ticket.

If lucky you might sneak through once if the stewards aren't paying attention. Not a chance you'd get away with this for very long.

So one of you goes through in advance and distracts said steward with some complex query (Perhaps coupled with strange behaviour), whilst positioned between steward and lights!

Agreed, It wouldn't of mattered with the dross this season, but if we improve next year, could have a lot of empty seats. How many u7s would be going to mid week evening games ?

I would guess they have decided that w 've had 1000 empty seats for every game this season so if you get kids in them for half the games it's worth it.
If we have a storming season and get full houses then the seats won't be empty

St have always gone on sale to new buyers as soon as to renewals.
You just can't buy seats reserved for renewals.

Royalwaster
Silver Fox
Royalwaster Was all intent on renewing my ST until today ... have now pretty much decided not to and instead to buy match tickets and wait and see till Xmas. Just too depressing watch this crap ...

How will you know which games are going to be worth buying a ticket for?

I'll buy tickets for the first few - and if the dross of this season continues I'll give it a miss .... and I anyway pretty much can never make it to mid-week games anyway due to work/family commitments. Might still change my mind though, as having been a ST now for the last 10 years feels a bit sad not renewing ... and the cost itself is not really a major issue.

the best way to really guarantee the team continues to struggle next season is to have loads of people not renew their season tickets tbf
not that I blame u

You'd have to be pretty thick to think you'd get away with that.

there isnt a steward inside each gate

occasionally you get 1 steward monitoring a whole bank of gates.

thing is you cant guarantee which gates they are monitoring, or at which games

With the U7 tickets I also suspect they will do spot checks in the ground, if a non u7 is sat in an u7 seat you may get a visit during the game.....

Either you're a lot older/younger than I thought (I blame the drugs) or you have failed to do the math correctly here (I blame the drugs)

well now mr smarty pants I think to introduce a third option of : " im sorry brendywendy, but I was very much mistaken and am going too take a long hard look at myself

family season ticket for me and the boy.
1 x adult, 1 x u16 = 400 quid. Saving of 75 quid on my £375 and his £100

It's £399 not £400.
