Would using Thai Airlines be more or less profitable than going external? On one hand, they may feel they can have a cheap deal as they've already got their fingers in the tasty Reading pie, but also could they 'cheat' invest their way around FFP by sponsoring us way over the odds to pump money into the club?

This the new kit then? Decent.

Although I think it would look better if the sponsor was lower down, looks a little bit cluttered.

There's a certain 'cock'n'balls' to it that should appeal to nobbers

I've heard the new sponsor will be Thai Airways with Carabao as another shirt sponsor which is a Thai energy drink similar to RedBull. I believe that one or more of the owners are board members of these companies so they may use the sponsorship deal to give Steve Clark much needed funds to totally reshape the squad.

I'm not expecting us to go mental with transfers and wages but we'll certainly be more competitive financially than we ever have been just within the FFP rules.

If there's any truth in that then you can expect stadium sponsorship in the near future as well then. They'll exploit any opportunity to bring money into the club if as you say they want to tackle the FFP and give the manager as big a budget as possible. This could be an interesting summer on and off the field.

No one notice the big 'Thai' advertising board in the South Stand at the Brentford game? Was also a Carabao one in the North stand. Didn't see any others.

Saw the Carabao one on Saturday on the North stand wall but had no idea who they were. Given the Thai board on the South stand wall, and the Thai banner on the electronic advertising boards during the game, we're already starting to see the new owners beginning to make a presence on the club.

I dreamt last night that we had an Adidas kit, with Thai as our sponsor.

Our home kit was blue and white but blurred bit like the first season at the Madejski, the away was black with an illuminous lime trim and markings.

You've heard it here first

Be good if the new owners bring changes to the food served as well, and some half time entertainment would be welcome, how about some stirring Thai music to start with rather than the old Broadmoor escape siren that has recently been used.

Pad Thai and Red Thai curry pies, with Singha, Chang or Leo as beer choices.

Is the Puma contract up in summer? Anyone seen the Celtic New Balance kit? I personally wouldn't mind that

I think it'd be as much about getting brand awareness of their companies in the UK (and elsewhere via televised games) as a way of putting money in.
