Zammo In a footballing world that is now completely and utterly money oriented it is (or was) refreshing to see a top class player plying his trade for one club for his entire career. e.
Zammo We all know that Liverpool fans will jump on the grief bandwagon when it rolls into town but they have an ‘old school’ tradition that continues to this day despite the ever changing footballing world. No other club comes close to matching it.

I would say Liverpool fans are certainly a 'special' bunch. I've never known a set of fans with a sense of humour bypass as them.
Post up a joke about Liverpool and you won't get a witty retort. All you will get is "5 times".
And let's not forget the Suarez t-shirts in support of him being racist. Very ill judged. No other club comes close to matching it.

TBM I'm a little confused with all this Gerrard being the last player to be a one club man........
I thought he was off to another club for next season, not retiring?!

No Fixed Abode Sterling wants to leave. No surprise really. For the development of our good English young players they really need to playing in the UCL consistently.

Sutekh Liverpool should cash in quick and good riddance to him, he'll spend next season on Man City's bench no doubt and get the odd 5 minutes here and there. The season after he'll be on loan at Stoke.

So that rules out any English clubs then.
