Emphasis on a "squad side".

Nice ground , but limited parking. Famous around the non-league for it's high quality burgers.

Seriously though the Orange Tree is the one closet to the ground, or there's a decent Wetherspoon in the town centre - The Picture Palace.

I must have missed something here. The pre-season friendly match on July 21st is away against Bristol Rovers. What happened to the Braintree game?

I would imagine both are happening, the first team squad playing Bristol Rovers, a reserve/academy side playing Braintree.

I'd go Braintree, but then I'm the other side of central London from most of you.

Do 33 minutes at each game, although you'd have to do less to account for travelling time.
