Kitsondinho Fran probably won't be playing next Friday, as she is with the England squad. She wasn't involved in our 3-0 win over Doncaster yesterday either. Think the squad fly out to Canada sometime during the week.

The second goal was brilliant/fortuitous, being a shot from about 40 yards. Very well hit, but the Doncaster keep was not only short, but jumped with all the agility of an ageing David Seaman, as the ball floated over her arms into the net.[/quote]lewesroyal

sandman Not sure what the bigger shambles is. Is it the state of goalkeeping in women's football or is it the state of the quoting in this thread?

Platypuss Kick off delayed til 8:00.
I'm assuming due to the M4 disruption rather than than an unexpectedly huge crowd of offspring, husbands and girlfriends.

Sutekh Do women ever get into fights on the pitch? Every time there's a sending off it seems to be for a late/mis-timed challenge rather than a good old fashioned girly scrap.
