TFF Mid/lower level coaching staff don't cost a fortune - paying off a one year rolling contract won't be the end of the world.

Nameless We aren't the only people he works for.
Being a club goalkeeping coach is hardly a full time occupation....

If Clarke really thinks those are the areas that need to/could be strengthened as a matter of priority then it really is confirmation that he is pretty clueless and is only likely to take the club in one direction - continuing where he left off last season.
How about our focussing on our inability to produce a decent number of shots, let alone on target, during the the majority of games that he has been in charge.
Doesn't matter how little it took to pay off those staff, IMO it was money that we didn't need to waste.
As for Bibbo - with friends like Hammond and Madejski standing by his side - he won't need to look for any enemies! Great thanks for his loyalty and fantastic contribution over the years.

Have you ever liked a manager we've had? I'm not sure my memory goes back far enough

Ever thought that might be what he is doing? He could be freeing up space in the staff for a striking coach, you just don't know.

blueroyals The club should be taking a look at our transfers over the last 4 years. Absolutely. Shocking.
The purpose of a DoF is to prevent the likes of HRK getting a lucrative contract extension. To prevent signings like Anton Ferdinand and Pog. To ensure we can keep hold of good players like Karacan. To stop us signing Akpan and Blackman.
Should have been Nicky Hammond getting the sack after the last 4 years, not the fucking kit man
