We're supposedly in talks with Foderingham who's just left Swindon. Not a bad shout for a keeper, but we are very bargain basement this summer I feel.

To be honest, even if we became like Blackpool, I would still go every Saturday. It just feels wrong if you don't.

Fed up with the whining and moaning. You are buying or you ain't!

Ticket office told me today that just over 200 free tickets have been snapped up. They will be monitoring closely that this will not be abused for 15/16 season including watching those through the turn style and whether the free seats are regularly sat in per game.

I used to feel like that. For about 20 years I only missed a few games when it was completely unavoidable.

Then I started missing the odd game for holidays etc, and found that I really wasn't that bothered.

I go with a couple of mates, and if they packed it in, I'd definitely stop. Only one has renewed for the coming season. The other might not bother.

I couldn't blame anyone for not renewing. the level of entertainment last season was appalling. I actually hated going to games, and would be quite pissed off if I realised there was an evening game as well that week. It just felt like a waste of time.

At the moment, there's no prospect of any improvement. In fact the signs seem to be that it will get worse. It's hard to face the thought of another season of turning up at home games expecting not to score.

Looking on the positives less renewals means:
8) easier to get in & out of the car park
8) no fairweathers leaving with 5 minutes to go & getting in the way of me watching the game

STH from '98 till '09. Only a handful of H/A games each season since due to playing football on Saturdays; plus work commitments.

Can't wait to get involved again :D

I think the fact I managed to book my old seat (which is a very decent spot) shows the take up this far...

Renewed after much consideration, on the basis that we've seen and enjoyed good memories of the club going up, playing at Wembley and suffered at going down and Wembley results.

I'd be amazed if Reading FC have a much better season than 2014-15 but then I never expected Brian M to lead the team to promotion. And the hope is 2016 - 17 will be the season Reading FC really come good again.

Left it a bit last minute but shall renew this lunch time before the cut off, next season will be a tough one, but I expect more of a feel good factor around the place and more hunger on show from the players.

Looking forward to the new season, should be an interesting one.

If you want success you should renew, if not it is a downward spiral. Can not understand with the prices why if you are a supporter you would not renew!

It's not financially sensible for me. I thought I would miss a few games on Tuesday nights and the odd saturday last year and in the end I think I paid about £30 a game and as I said previously I generally can't be arsed to go anyway. Seems like since we've been in the Premier League the life has slowly been sucked out of the place and it feels like a chore, it's not the bad results we've had that before, it's just not something I'm prepared to overpay for if I'm not going to make all or the majority of games as I used to.

So probably cross the 10K line but be down on last year 12.5k which is a shame, but unstandable, parking might be easier :D

How can you tell it will be worse ?
I'm an eternal optimist, but you can't have a clue what next season will be like before we're even out of May !!

We sold just under 11,500 ST last year. If we've sold just over 10,000 sold for 15/16 then that is ridiculously good given the circumstances.
