A player must have played for his country in at least 75% of its competitive A team matches of which he was available for selection, during the two years preceding the date of the application

The player’s country must be at or above 70th place in the official FIFA world rankings when averaged over the two years preceding the date of the application

Apparently Georgia are 139th in the world which surprised me. Guess that's that then.

Hector's dad's tweet seems to have come down. Comments appeared about Pearce and Hec not getting on and being kept away from each other in training.

3points Was speaking to a Derby fan today. I've managed to burst his joyous bubble that they are about to sign a top Championship defender. He described their current centre backs as slow and poor on the bal, up quite good in the air. I said Pearce would fit in well then!

fan of selling club in -disparaging remarks about leaving player- shocker

but agreed

Eggyboff is a game that is played between sports teams, friends and even families. The rules of the game are simple, someone calls an Eggyboff by naming a rule. For example :"Next person to use the toilet is eggyboff".

If you become Eggyboff, no-one can talk to you or acknowledge you for the whole time they are Eggyboff. If someone else does talk to Eggyboff, they become Eggyboff until either someone talks to them, or a new rule is called.

It is best played in risky situations, such as a football match, "Next person to touch the ball is Eggyboff".

It has absolutely nothing to do with Pearce being a 'bad egg'

Pepe the Horseman Couldn't get a work permit and the Turks have got an option to buy.

What are stipulations that go with granting work permits? Is it a case of that's it back you go, or can you re-apply...etc etc. why would a work permit get declined?

EU residents no problem

Outside of EU then I believe you have to have played in 3 quarters of your countries internationals in the last 2 years or something like that.

Imagine the reaction on here when the Thais' take us down as they are too preoccupied with asset stripping the club and reaping the rewards of the land around the Madejski, rather than doing anything remotely worthwhile on it.

Reading FC died when Sir John sold us down the river, we'll never have it good again.
