Pepe the Horseman Forest are apparently leading the race ahead of us to get Myhill. One player I'd genuinely be disappointed to miss out on. Would also be a massive piss take if we miss out on a player to a team under a transfer embargo.

It's only a very light touch embargo though. Doesn't actually involve not being able to sign players !!

Alan Nixon, a sun journalist that seems to know his stuff, says that we are closing in on a deal for a keeper and it'll be in the paper tomorrow.

What about Itumeleng Khune, released from Kaizer Chiefs (due to £). Surely he'd hit visa requirements?

Aged 27, good age for a keeper, one of Kaizers best players for years, bit of a mentalist - as the best keepers are and was on the highest wage at Kaisers a high wage*. 68 caps for South Africa.

*by their standards.

He was on about R400,000 a month (£20k a month) and wanted an increase to R700,000 a month (their second highest earner was on about R300,000), so about £35785 a month, or £8250 a week.

Said a few months ago he wants to play in Europe - http://www.kickoff.com/news/53939/itume ... -on-europe. He's since been linked with with Genclerbirligi SK

He'd be excellent, his distribution is as good as Feds, if not better. However he's fairly short for a keeper at 184cm

I'd be over the moon to get Myhil but I've seen lots of rubbish written about him already this summer. Most of it talks of him being a free transfer but he signed a new contract ages ago that runs out next summer.

When so many of the stories say he's a freebie I tend to think they're just a bit of BS.

Foster's out until christmas Myhill has been offered a new contract. I don't want come across as Johnny Big Bollocks. But, there's no way forest can compete on wages

Has any one done any research on Foderingham? He seems to have a bit or a attitude problem i think we can do better. Plus he is always terrible against Preston and we are up against them this season. I can see Brad Jones. I don't really want to but i can

Where was Brad when you saw him? Did you need binoculars or was he quite close?

We are in talks for Brad Jones. If we can agree terms with him, he will be the new keeper. Would rather have Wes Foderingham personally

It's LoyalRoyal22, so it's about as believable as the Thais' actually have any money at all.
