P!ssed Off Perhaps the Thais might like to invest some of the money they received from Bangkok Bank PCL when they mortgaged the hotel in February?

Or is that money earmarked for Samrit's legal defence team?

Maybe they already have..

I'm sure others will know details but wasn't the hotel sold separately to the club, in a deal which only went through earlier this year ?

You suspect QPR will be rushing to get players in before whatever punishment for their massive overspending last time is imposed.
A transfer ban is no real punishment if you've already brought in the players you need and spent yet more money you don't have !!

Coppelled_Streets
linkenholtroyal There is one exciting thing about this summer I've been thinking about it, for once we have to make signings where as we haven't before, our squad is so thread bear that at least there will be some transfer action this summer,

Or we flood the team with kids because there isn't much money available..

A few years ago Fergie flooded his MU team with kids and look what happened to them (never mind, Alan Hanson)

I really only see one of three outcomes.

1/ There is no money. In that case we will most likely offload the likes of HRK, Pog etc (if we can) and just use the youth. If so I think Clarke will go if he has any sense - as a very long season of struggle is more than likely. I know our under 21's have promise but to expect 6-7 of them to step up immediately would be a big ask.

or 2/ there is a lot of money and the club are just winding us all up with the silence. In that case I would expect a minimum of 6 new experienced signings. Then it would be very much Clarke's squad and over to him to see what he can do.

or 3/ a half way house between the two - the Reading way. Just sign 2-3 experienced players, rely to a large extent on youth and hope we can just scrape survival at best.

Time will tell.

Extended-Phenotype Again, FFP

Have the FL actually stated QPR have an embargo or are they hoping to keep quiet and that it all goes away. I actually think that this gets addressed in November - wasn't that when Forest were sanctioned officially last season?

So yet again QPR look like they can take the **** - then find they cannot do anything in January.

Really hoping that QPR struggle badly in 2015/2016.

This FFP really is utterly brilliant

Although the spine of that team included Schmicheal, Bruce, Pallister and Cantona. Note the key roles of defence, keeper and goalscorer filled with experience.

And that was a bit of a one off situation.

QPR are challenging it legally and the FL is playing it cautious by not applying a penalty before the outcome. Because if they did and lost, they'd be a shambles and screwed.

The problem is if QPR go straight back up (although, lets face it, they won't stay there indefinitely.

The FL can hit them with an embargo / fine / kick them out any time really.

It does look more like they'll get away with it. But why judge and criticise before it happens?

I think once we buy a keeper, centre half and a striker we will be ok

Jack Stacey and that Fossil bloke looked good against Derby and will probably break through (thats the wings sorted as back up for McCleary and HRK) - Williams, Karacan and Norwood in the midfield alongside them

Just heard from a source within RFC. The summer rebuild involves turning the car park into a shopping complex with luxury flats above. :D

Three whole metres? What a lovely present. Three metres of what though?

Have we bought anybody yet?

Are we still selling off all our best players?

Does the board crave relegation this season?
