He was on the bench a few times last season for Cheltenham(?) including play-off semi final.

It isn't going to though we triggered his extension a couple of weeks ago as Foster's out until Christmas. It's HITC the story 17 days old. Hennessey's doesn't want to come and the stick we've give him over the years can't really blame him :D Must have copy to fill

Is triggering an extension like blowing up a conservatory ?

Too many lazy 'journalists' who can't be bothered to check facts.
Of course there is no reason the deal can't be on. We make you an offer, you have another keeper lined up, we get Myhill. The extension means nothing really, players move all the time despite being under contract and maybe the extension. Was just a way of avoiding losing him for nothing.
But I'd be surprised....

True but after the way Myhill played in our "Run-In from Hell" apart from the Arsenal game. He on merit alone deserves to be No. 1 finally. Plus he's settled and on fairly high wages. As for players we've been linked with whoever comes in will have happy with being third choice when Fozzy comes back. the only one so far linked who would consider that is Wes Foderingham. I think Royal Ginger's hit the nail on the head

Fostering ham is hardly going to go for a third place career killing deal.
More likely to choose to join us than disappear into West Midlands obscurity

It's only been a link, we have moved on other targets so I doubt it will be him as well. Hennessey and him have been the only two GK's linked so far

Wouldn't be surprised if Hennessey is the keeper we're after actually.

Would like Myhill to come here. Always thought he was an outstanding keeper right back to his days with Hull.

Palace paid well over £3m for him so I would expect they will want at least half of this back
