Well that came out of the blue....
Good signing, and interesting to read that Clarke already wanted another experienced defender before Pearce was leaving. I wonder if that means we'll possibly see another one coming in before the end of the window (as I've said elsewhere if I were Clarke I'd be very tempted by Zak Whitbread on a free as well, partly for his ability to cover left back).
More mention of a winning mentality too. It's a bit of a cliché and hollow praise, but it's obviously something that Clarke has identified as needing to be fixed this summer.
