Listening to Dellor and Rob Wilson on BBC makes purgatory and the Nine Circles of Hell appear like an attractive proposition

Three goals in three games for Blackman. He's still shite though.

how come Blackman shit? he scoring goals u muppet head

7 in 78, a real goal scoring prodigy.

If he goes on and has a fantastic season then fair play but right now, imo, he's shit.

Anywho. Good result against a strong Swansea team. Cost me £25 though :|

Blackman is such an enigma, I just think there is a decent player there, just need someone to ignite it, then we could see what he is capable of.

Imo Blackman looked good today when playing more centrally, but still suffered from his compulsion to try and beat players. Managed it a couple times but more often than not didn't. The last few minutes when we switched to a 4-5-1 really reinforced that he's not a winger. Cracking strike though.

Pog was good and played a lot better than Samuel who he was subbed for.
Ferdinand and Keown were really impressive and at some points it seemed like we had their older namesakes at the back!

Taylor wasn't good enough (although wasn't on the pitch for long) and Gunter made a couple mistakes, one of which led to the corner which they scored their equaliser from.

P.S ShoreLark has seriously affected some members of this board.

Looks like we have a couople of very promising centre backs in Cooper and Keown, Clarke has already intimated that he really rates Keown, so maybe losing Pearce isnt such a major thing, together with the promise that a fit Ferdinand offers.

All he's got to do is learn when to pass and when to take someone on or shoot. Sadly, he's a oxf*rd.

I agree re Keown. He has good situational awareness, and is constantly checking the position of everybody around him. With Keown, Ferdinand and Cooper we've got a very strong central defence.

Upper West Ginger With Keown, Ferdinand and Cooper we've got a very strong central defence.

And then there's Hector.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves with keown, cooper and Ferdinand based on a couple of friendlies.

The former is completely untested, cooper is still very inexperienced and Ferdinand is an injury waiting to happen.

Maybe it's the STG in me. :?

Hector has had one good season and we've seen nothing of McShane...

My god, we've actually got NO central defenders.....

Jeez, why do some people even wake up in the morning.....

Not there but looks like Kuhl, Kelly, Nova, Tanner, and Liburd all start. Strong team. Will be a good test.
