Plenty of South Americans qualify for passports from EU countries though. Presumably the fact that he is playing in Portugal suggests they have found a way to get him into Europe through a Portugese connection ?

He has appeared in 7 out of 10 competitive games for Peru in the past 2 years and I think 70% in the requirement for a work permit. Peru are ranked inside the top 50 so that is ok as well.

Let's hope it's McCleary leaving. HRK and Blackman give 110% and are necessary components of this high work-ethic squad.

I wonder if there are any stats available to back that up ?

Simon's Church 100% convinced hurtado and beric are the two players we need to fire us to promotion this season.

No-one else will do

I reckon Messi and ibrahimovic might be just as useful....

They didn't really have a good understanding at Barcelona. The last thing we need is too overpaid pre Maradonas restricting Samuel's game time.

OUT.

@Jimmy_Coulson: Regarding Hurtado. We met his release clause with one year left on his contract. Reports state it's to be announced tomorrow. #readingfc

CW says the reports are false that he has signed, but we are in talks to sign him.

He's sitting on the fence. It's all Portuguese & Peruvian press reporting it; I don't think CW knows anything about it and he's struggling to get anything too.

his name looks like an amateur wrestling move, so it's an 'IN' from me.

Hoping to see him administer some Hurtnadoes, bringing the pain.

Would be a quality signing. 3 proper wingers at the club (McCleary, Fosu + Paulo). Just need to ship out the pretenders...

After todays performance Fosu is still a long way from being ready. So even with this signing we still need an experienced winger. Today proved we have little quality on the creative side. One shot on goal because there was no provision.
