No Fixed Abode The away kit is orange.

Both wrong I'm afraid.

I know. It's purple.

It appears this was the conversation...

I'd imagine you're the type of character that would go fishing with dynamite

Well done though!

Someone from the club has informed me that the away kit was planned to be a full red number. However once the deal with Thai Airways was reached the Thais demanded a change of kit colour to Purple and Yellow, hence the late kit release. There is apparently a stock of the red kits in existence and some of the youth teams will be playing in them.

Wouldn't it make more sense if there was a red kit planned to release it as a third kit and bleed more money out of us fans. I thought these Thai's were business people.

So will the design of the kit get released any time soon? Season starts a week Saturday and both teams play in blue

If by soon you mean when Reading take to the field at St Andrews on 8th August at 3pm then yes.

You have to say though the club is taking the p1ss with the release of this away kit. It won't be available to buy until weeks into the season. Kids will want it - parents feel under pressure to buy it - and in about 9 months time there will be another new one out, so they're shortening the span of kit.

It's not like they don't have a clue when the football season starts. The people at the club and puma/Genesis Sports need to have a long hard look at themselves.

 at getting so worked up about a club which you don't support away kit release date.

I do think the club have missed a trick by not releasing it before the family fun day. Same with squad numbers.

Yep - Marketing is pretty poor. Makes you wonder how some people get these jobs.

5 days to go until we are away to a team in Blue... not very organised is it?!

Perhaps we are going to have to go skins...

I guess they may wear last season's away kit this weekend, and possibly retain it as a third kit, if the new away one isn't ready.
