Forbury Lion To be fair, there are not too many players in the right age range to make a return.
Jem Karacan, especially if he stays fit and develops at Galatasary.
Adam LeFondre, he can score goals and that's what we need.
Michael Antonio
Adam Federici
Jamie Mackie
Nathaniel Chalobah
paddy20 Should have gone back for Doyle and Kebe, even if they were good back ups, the squad is pretty slim

The Prisoner Doyle's career has been largely in freefall since he left here. I did wonder if a return to his spiritual home might have been the thing he needs rather than a trip to the bizarre world of MLS.

Simon Cox wasn't it? Until we resigned him and everyone decided he was shit again.
Given few deny McCleary is quality, McAnuff put in more than his fair share of assists and HRK scored lots of consolation goals, not forgetting Kebe ... do you really think Antonio would have played more than a tiny handful of games in the Premier League?
Do you really think he'd have developed as well getting 5/6 starts and 10 sub appearances compared to 42 appearances for Wednesday in the Championship?
It's ok for a player to go, develop elsewhere and become good. That doesn't have to mean an error's been made. Had we not gone up I'm sure he'd have stayed and worked himself into a mainstay as Kebe's legs fell apart. But we went up.

SCIAG McCarthy, Federici, Hamer would all go into the first team if we signed them tomorrow.
