MeMeMe WTF !!!... 'African Violet' !!... what next 'Papa New Guinea Pink' or 'New Zealand Orange' !!! Lets just put a country name in front of everything to make it more palatable somehow. It's garish and embarrassing, the ridicule we will face in away games will be ' Madagascan unbearable'

Nothing new here.

Doncaster Rovers played at Elm Park in 1972 wearing African Violet. How we laughed.

And threw bananas at their full back?

Best shirt in years. Doesn't look like a football shirt really so I wouldn't be surprised if it sells more than the usual shirts which couldn't be anything other than a football kit.

Coppelled_Streets It's expected to go down well in Thailand.

Why? Purple doesn't have any significance in Thailand. If it had been yellow, on the other hand...

Besides, if you aren't Manchester United or Liverpool you can pretty much forget the Thai market. Having seen the Leicester City shop in Bangkok Airport, it's safe to say that being Thai-owned doesn't make a fart in hell's difference to support levels.

We play in blue and white, if the blue clashes we should play in white, if the whiye clashes, we should play in blue. After that yellow, but who really cares.

That would not really work would it.
Imagine the meltdown on HNA if the club said they were going to make us all buy 4 kits !
Not to mention League rules which mean you can only have 2 alternate kits which have to be different to your first choice. If Blue and white clashed then blue, or white would also albe as clash !

^ thank you. PINK. No way the club could say "ooooh, look at our new pink away shirt" so it has been christened African violet.

Mind you, I've got a pink work shirt

In 2005/06 the away kit was dark blue, so at Leicester away (for some reason i remember this match) we had to play in a 3rd white kit. If Leicester had a blue and white kit presumably this 3rd kit would have had to be a different colour again.

So seems 4 kits isn' so strange
