Coppelled_StreetsJagermesiter1871floyd__streete The new away strip is excellent, indeed both of the 2015/16 efforts look to me to be a vast improvement on some of the tat we have worn in recent seasons.
As usual though, our ever self-conscious fan base with a chip permanently on its collective shoulder seems to be more concerned on social media with what supporters of other clubs might think of us wearing 'African Violet'. Grow up, you bunch of Fairies.
I couldn't disagree more.
For me the club have made 2 kits that no one in their right mind would buy. The home kit, whilst itself is actually quite nice with a decent template, albeit slightly JJB five-a-side special, is ruined by what I think is one of the ugliest sponsors I've seen on a football shirt. The logo itself is fairly ugly but this is exacerbated by the size of the logo which looks comically small and disproportionate to the shirt.
The away kit again is a fairly nice template but the colour choice is woeful. I'm perfectly comfortable with my sexuality but what guy is going to wear lilac? Which is a concern for a majority male supported sport.
Presumably the main objective of a shirt is to produce something that is going to sell well. I would be hugely surprised if the club sell their full quota of these shirts, something which last seasons shirts did comfortably.
Hard to disagree with this post tbf. I like the home shirt but the sponsor does ruin it and would stop me buying one. Away shift I like also, but just wouldn't wear it. But it's all about sponsor exposure this time around, not the fans.

What colour is that? Violet? Indigo? The shade of a young drunk's vomit when they've overdosed on red wine?
