Platypuss Can't see the value in getting both Chalobah and Fernandez on loan,.

Chalobah was playing in the Championship at 17. If we wanted Tshibola to be, then we shouldn't have sent him on loan - we should have played him ourselves, ahead of the likes of Jake Taylor, Michael Hector, Jobi McAnuff, and Hope Akpan.andrew1957 Would feel very sorry for Tshibola if this happens. Think Tshibola has done everything we have asked of him and he is only 5 weeks younger than Chalobah. If anything he has been let down by the RFC Academy system which tends to loan players out a lot later than Chelsea. Chalobah is therefore much more experienced than Tshibola but I am not sure that he is that much better.
And if Chalobah's loan does include the option of a permanent move then what future does Tshibola have at the club as they are very similar players.

PistolPete The thing is, we all know Chalobah is on £30k at Chelsea. Now, I'd imagine Reading would subsidise £10k of that, which Chelsea might do if they thought we were developing him, but the likelihood of him signing permanently is slim, unless he got us promoted.
On the other hand, I love the idea of a midfield in a few years of Kuhl, Chalobah and Tshibola!
